This season marks a very special milestone for us at Style Your Nest—we are celebrating 10 years in business!

When I first opened the doors in 2016, I never could have imagined where this journey would lead. What started as a dream and a passion for home décor, unique gifts, and supporting Canadian makers has grown into something far greater than a store. It has become a gathering place, a destination, and a wonderful community built on connections and shared appreciation for beautiful things.
Over the past decade, we've welcomed thousands of customers through our doors. We've watched families return year after year, met visitors from across Canada and beyond, and had the privilege of being part of countless special moments—from finding the perfect gift to helping create cozy spaces at home and the cottage.
Like any small business, the past 10 years have brought both challenges and celebrations. There have been busy summers, quiet winters, changing trends, and even a global pandemic. Through it all, your support has allowed Style Your Nest to continue growing and evolving while staying true to what matters most: offering carefully chosen products, supporting Canadian businesses and artisans, and creating a warm, welcoming shopping experience.
One of the things I am most proud of is that Style Your Nest has always focused on Canadian-made and Canadian-designed products whenever possible. Supporting fellow Canadian entrepreneurs, artists, and makers has been at the heart of what we do since day one.
As I reflect on the last decade, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Thank you to every customer who has shopped with us, shared a kind word, recommended us to a friend, followed us on social media, or simply stopped in to browse. Thank you to the incredible artisans, suppliers, staff, family, and friends who have helped make Style Your Nest what it is today.

This beautiful old church in the heart of Buckhorn has seen a lot of history over the years, and I feel incredibly fortunate that Style Your Nest has been part of its story for the past 10.
While it's fun to look back, I'm even more excited about what's ahead. We have new products arriving, new ideas in the works, and plenty more memories yet to be made.

My name is Jamie and I'm the owner of Style Your Nest & Style Your Nest Design. Based in Buckhorn, ON but operating online as well, I run a retail store, online store and home-design service (more on that below!).
Our retail store is full of items that help make your space, whether that be your house, cottage or garden feel more like a home. We offer a wide array of home decor items, glassware, clothing, paints and so much more. Most of what we sell in store can also be found on our newly designed website!
Nearly every week I'm adding new items so be sure to stop by the store (open seasonally from May-October) or browse online to keep up to date on what we have to offer. Many items are gone once out of stock, so be sure to act quickly!
If you're shopping online, I've organized my products in easy to access collections to help make your search all the more pleasant. Currently, I'm loving our Cottage Life, Bath & Relaxation and Home Decor collections. Just seems the time of year to explore all of these. Bath & Relaxation can be especially nice for those of us that live in the Kawarthas as it's nice to take a few deep breaths before the full swing of the summer lands on our shores!
While I love to curate new items that you can select to be put in your home or cottage, I also love to help you make your space feel more like you through my design service, Style Your Nest Design. Working in person or remote from my home in the Kawarthas, I start with a home design consultation which helps me gain a better understanding of your projects wants, needs and wish list. My goal is always to help you design and enhance your space to suit your lifestyle by looking at areas such as colour scheme/paint selection, your planning of furniture placement, accessories & lighting, flooring suggestions and so much more! It's a process that I deeply enjoy, but it's seeing the finished result and the love for it by you that I appreciate even more.
